外星人較懂遊戲？ 有天我在試玩Dell Alienware M11x

為甚麼要在手提電腦上玩遊戲？在netbook當道的時候，我會這樣問自己。「選擇使用手提電腦的人，都應該要放棄遊戲了吧」。但當市場主流已經不再是桌面主機、現在即使一台平板電腦都有Nvidia Tegra 2光耀著的時候，我不禁問自己：現在是不是電腦規格爛就不配玩遊戲？ 回家看等我回家的MacBook，回想當時強勁、最高規格的SantaRosa黑色MacBook，連現在普及到極的獨立顥示晶片都沒有…為了體驗現今電腦技術的發達，我在Dell聚會之後商借一台手提電腦，主要還是想體驗一下，到底一台聲稱專為玩遊戲用的手提電腦究竟有甚麼賣點。
這次送測的機種是Dell Alienware M11x，是屬於Dell的遊戲筆記本的低階類型。老實說，要是我拿最高階的M17x來測試可能會浪費一點，因為我根本看不到3D（這個有機會再說）。
