來到十一月,我們已經可以肯定今年的Apple是相當成功的一年,我也相信Mac在香港的市場必定有所增長(數字上,不是比例上)。我是很遲才留意Apple的人,一些傳媒朋友和老蘋友都跟我說,Apple在香港的市場推廣比以往好多了。上次Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger在香港首賣時,只有在會場購買的人才有T-Shirt(今年台灣也是,但只有五十件);但今年Apple外判了宣傳工作給公關公司,先有年中的Final Cut Studio 2 Seminar,再有剛剛的Leopard Seminar,人人一件T-Shirt,答問題就再加送一至兩件,這才有氣氛!香港人就是這樣,就算明知道是正價,也非得要把兵錢排寫上特價不可;五元一包奶,就要寫成十元兩件;買鞋就要寫買一隻送一隻,瘋狂得很。

一讚香港蘋果的公關

「香港被Apple忽視是必然的。」聽過太多類似的說話,也有不少有關BAD和CASE的不愉快個案,可惜知道了又沒有辦法可以解決,實在無奈得很。

Gabe說,香港,甚至亞太區(日本除外)的市場一團糟,內銷是,客戶服務也是,維修就更差。BAD CASE的CS做得再好,可能只是會令你覺得好過一點而已(當然也非常重要)。我不知道公關公司的職能有多大,但我還是希望她能協助香港Apple離開這個不知所謂的困局。
順帶一提,今天得到了一個Starbucks “Song of the day” 的Redeem Code,是以今天我終於能夠首嘗iTunes Store的滋味了!
